I too live in Michigan and saw your site on a posting on babycenter.com. You will make wonderful parents as I can see you will provide many enrichment activities for your child from camping, gardening, sports, etc. That is great and I wish you the best luck. Hi Melissa, Thanks for visiting our blog. I would recommend checking out the site adoptivefamiliescircle.com, they have tons of resources regarding attorneys and agencies. I believe you can research by state, as well! Then, you can call the agencies and attorneys and ask them what their fees are and what their process involves, that way you can make an informed decision. One good question to ask is whether they want any fees up front and what happens if the birth mother changes her mind. I believe the website also has a list of questions to ask and things to consider when you are deciding which agency or attorney to go through. Best of luck!

My husband and I are looking to adopt…any suggestions on where to look where it does not cost thousands upon thousands of dollars. That has been our hardest dilema. We live in Colorado Springs and my husband is active duty army. Anyy advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ann & Eric i heard about you from a friend in FB”!!i mention to her that in my country DR there is this beautiful baby boy who is 5 month old who was given away by his birth mother days after he was born..I was contacted to see if i was interested in taking him but i already have 2 kids & i cant commit to such responsibility although its a blessing to be Asked for i myself was given away from birth!so if you “R interested in knowing more about baby henry please let me know..thank you and have a blessed day!!

I have no doubt you will be the most loving, caring and FABULOUS parents to the very blessed little boy or girl who is fortunate to be adopted by you two!
